dye sublimation
Nowadays,Dye Sublimation is very popular. But most of us forget its history:dye sublimation was discovered by Noel de Plasse, a Frenchman, in the 1950s. De Plasse noted that high temperatures could cause specific dyes to sublimate - that is, to become an integral part of the paper on which they are printed. Dye sublimation printers, which are an offshoot of de Plasse's original process (the sublimation printer uses an electrical charge to achieve the same effect) effectively inject the ink into the paper - which means no bleeding, no loss of colour and no fading.
