What is sublimation?--sublimation uniforms

Sublimation is the process when a substance changes from a solid to a gas or a gas to a solid without going through the liquid stage. Ice is a solid that when heated melts into a liquid and then eventually evaporates into a gas. In the sublimation process there is no liquid stage.
With summer fast approaching, we have been working on some exciting sportswear projects which means one thing- Printing! Sublimation printing involves the direct transfer of sublimation inks from a digitally printed image into a fabric via the application of heat. The process is suitable for polyester fabrics, and will not crack or fade easily. Unlike other printing options, such as screen printing, you are not limited with the amount of colours that can be used making it perfect for sportswear. If you want to see the process for yourself, check out the video below to see a full Castelli Cycling Jersey being printed.
Sublimated (sub-dyed) uniforms are made out of our poly/spandex two-way rib knit SpiritFlex, with the design dyed directly into the fabric. There is no need for additional striping or lettering, keeping the uniform lightweight and with maximum stretchability.See More Examples Here...What type of designs can be made for Sublimated uniforms? There are so many options! See above for some design ideas. Sublimated uniforms are a great way to incorporate an intricate logo, or to create your very own fabric design. Due to the dying process, we currently do not have the capability to create metallics.
